M.Sc. Mental health Nursing

The M.Sc. Mental Health Nursing program specializes in the care and rehabilitation of individuals with mental health disorders. It provides advanced knowledge in psychiatric assessment, therapeutic communication, and evidence-based interventions. The course focuses on promoting mental well-being, preventing mental illnesses, and supporting recovery. Graduates are prepared for roles in clinical practice, mental health education, and research.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate shall have passed B.Sc.(Nursing)/ B.Sc(Hons.) Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with mininimum 55% for general and 50% for SC/ST from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with below requirements: 1. Should be a Registered Nurse/Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council 2. Minimum one year work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing
